When you install VAMP and register, VAMP maps your computer (scans media files). This is for your convenience. When building a screen saver, photo album or other things, the scanning makes all your media readily available. It sounds like there is a corrupted media file (an MP3 or JPG file that wasn't downloaded completely or something like that) on your computer that causes VAMP to "hang" during the mapping stage.

The solution is simple:

• Stop the mapping process by clicking on close (X) button on the top-right corner of the mapping window


• Click the "Media Organizer" tab


• Click "Bring My files to VAMP" button


• Select "Browse My Computer" option to add VAMP the files of your choice

I would appreciate a few more details in order to understand and solve this issue for our future development. If you are willing to help out could you please send our support team the contents of your VAMP error log, named im.log and located in your C:\ folder.
